Earlier this month, Samsung confirmed that it will soon unveil the Galaxy M36 5G smartphone, which will succeed the Galaxy M35 5G, launched in 2024. Now, the brand has revealed the launch date of the smartphone through an Amazon microsite. Additionally, Samsung has also revealed its full design and some key features.
Samsung Galaxy M36 5G: India launch details, expected specifications
A live Amazon microsite for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M36 5G has confirmed that the handset will launch in India on June 27, and will be available in the country through the e-commerce site and the Samsung India website. Moreover, the smartphone is teased to come in Orange Haze, Serene Green, and Velvet Black colour options.
The South Korean brand has also revealed that the handset will have a slim 7.7mm sleek profile, and will be 15% slimmer than the Galaxy M35 5G. Further, it confirmed to come with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection, and offer multiple AI features such as Google Gemini Live and Circle to Search. The phone is seen to have a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and volume rocker buttons on the right frame.
In terms of optics, the Galaxy M36 5G will be equipped with an OIS-supported 50MP primary camera, accompanied by two more rear sensors. The triple camera unit will sit inside a pill-shaped module, with an LED flash unit at the side. On the front, the device is likely to have a 13MP camera inside a U-shaped notch. As for its pricing, we can expect the Galaxy M36 5G to be priced under Rs 20,000 in India.
