    The Redmi Pad 2 is powered by a MediaTek Helio G100-Ultra chipset coupled with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. It is available in both Wi-Fi-only and Wi-Fi + Cellular options, and has a starting price of Rs 13,999 in India.

    Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has introduced its latest budget tablet, the Redmi Pad 2, in India today. It is available in two versions: Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + Cellular, and boasts an 11-inch 2.5K display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 9,000mAh battery. The company claims that it is the first tablet in the country to support Google’s Circle to Search feature. Moreover, it ships with Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0 out of the box.Redmi Pad 2: Price, availabilityThe Redmi Pad 2 is available for Rs 13,999 for the base model with a 4GB RAM + 128GB storage Wi-Fi-only variant. Meanwhile, the Wi-Fi + 4G option, which supports cellular connectivity, costs Rs 15,999 and Rs 17,999 for the 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB RAM and storage models, respectively.It will be available from June 24 in blue and grey colour shades via the official e-store, Amazon, and select offline retail stores. As part of the launch offer, customers using HDFC Bank Credit Cards can get a discount of up to Rs 1,000. The Redmi Pad 2’s cover and Smart Pen (Stylus) are priced at Rs 1,299 and Rs 3,999, respectively.

     Redmi Pad 2: Specifications, features

     The Redmi Pad 2 comes with an 11-inch 2.5K display, with a 90 Hz adaptive refresh rate and 600 nits of peak brightness. The screen offers up to 600 nits of brightness level, Triple TÜV Rheinland certifications for eye protection, and wet touch technology support. Further, the tablet is powered by a MediaTek Helio G100-Ultra SoC paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage.

     If we talk about cameras, the Redmi Pad 2 has an 8MP rear and a 5MP camera sensor at the front. It features a quad speaker system with Dolby Atmos support. Xiaomi has packed a 9,000mAh battery in the tablet with support for 18W wired charging. Connectivity options include 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. It weighs 510 grams.
