Redmi K80 may feature 7410mAh battery, MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ SoC: All the details

The Redmi K80 Ultra will feature a large 7,410 mAh battery and is expected to be launched alongside the Redmi K Pad. Furthermore, it will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ SoC and feature the company’s largest-ever 3D IceLoop vapour chamber.

Xiaomi is set to introduce the Redmi K80 Ultra in China soon. The company has revealed the design and colour options of this smartphone alongside some key features. While an exact launch date for this device is still unknown, it is confirmed that the Redmi K Pad will launch alongside it. Moreover, the Redmi K80 Ultra will be the third smartphone in the K80 lineup, which includes the Redmi K80 and K80 Pro.

Redmi K80 Ultra: Design, colour options, and key features

Through a new Weibo post, Redmi has revealed that the upcoming K80 Ultra will come with a circular rear camera module at the top left corner with two camera sensors alongside an LED flash unit. Further, it will include a 50MP primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) support. Moreover, the Redmi K80 Ultra will sport a 6.83-inch flat display and will be equipped with a D2 display chip as well.

The handset is also confirmed to come in white, black, and green colour options. A second Weibo post from the company also confirms that K80 Ultra will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ SoC and will use the company’s largest-ever 3D IceLoop vapour chamber to keep it cool under heavy load. It is also claimed to achieve an AnTuTu score of 3.24 million.

Additionally, the Redmi K80 Ultra will pack a 7,410mAh battery and will support bypass charging technology. It is likely to support 100W wired fast charging and come with an IP68-rated dust and water-resistant build. Redmi has confirmed additional premium features for the smartphone, including an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, a coaxial symmetrical stereo speaker setup, a tactile vibration motor, and an aluminium frame.
