Poco, the popular budget smartphone brand, has quietly taken down its independent website, marking a major shift in its journey. If you visit the global po.co website today, you’ll be redirected straight to Xiaomi’s main store pages. However, the India website is still functional. So if you visit the Poco India website, you will still be able to see Poco branding as well the Poco products being sold in India.
Poco is now Xiaomi? For years, Poco stood out as a sub-brand under Xiaomi, offering great value without straying far from its parent company’s resources like R&D and manufacturing. The independent website symbolized its attempt to carve out a unique presence in the market. However, as of early 2025, Poco’s entire product lineup will now be sold exclusively through Xiaomi’s digital storefronts.
Interestingly, while global Poco websites and the Poco Store app are now history, Poco India’s site still lingers online. It hasn’t been updated in months, showing models like the Poco C75 and Poco M7 Pro 5G from late 2024. Whether this is just a temporary holdover or if India will have a different approach is unclear.
For Poco fans, there’s some reassurance. Warranty and after-sales services remain unchanged, as Xiaomi has always managed these. If you’ve used the Poco Store app before, your personal data is now accessible via your Xiaomi account, keeping things seamless and privacy-friendly.
