OPPO has introduced two new smartphones in India the K13 Turbo Pro 5G and K13 Turbo 5G, which come with a built-in cooling fan, a first for the Indian market. The company says the devices are aimed at gamers and heavy users who need sustained performance without overheating.
Display and battery
The OPPO K13 Turbo 5G and K13 Turbo Pro 5G share the same core hardware in terms of display and battery. Both come with a 6.8-inch AMOLED screen offering a crisp 1.5K resolution, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate for responsive gaming and scrolling. Powering these devices is a massive 7000mAh battery paired with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, capable of going from 1% to 100% in around 54 minutes.
Performance and processing power
The most significant difference between the two models is in performance. The K13 Turbo 5G runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, while the K13 Turbo Pro 5G gets a boost with the newer and more powerful Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. The Pro also offers a higher RAM option, with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, compared to the standard Turbo’s maximum of 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
Camera setup
Both phones feature a 50MP main rear camera and a 16MP front camera. However, the K13 Turbo Pro 5G adds optical image stabilisation (OIS) alongside electronic image stabilisation (EIS), giving it an edge in low-light photography and video stability. The standard Turbo 5G relies solely on EIS.
Design and special features
Design-wise, the two phones are nearly identical, but the K13 Turbo Pro 5G stands out with customisable breathing lights on the back — a stylish touch missing from the regular Turbo. Colour options also vary slightly: the Turbo is available in White Knight, Purple Phantom, and Midnight Maverick, while the Pro comes in Silver Knight, Purple Phantom, and Midnight Maverick.
Price and availability
The OPPO K13 Turbo 5G starts at Rs 27,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant and Rs 29,999 for the 8GB+256GB version. The OPPO K13 Turbo Pro 5G is priced at Rs 37,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant and Rs 39,999 for the 12GB+256GB model. Both models will be available with pre-booking offers, exchange bonuses, and EMI options, but the Pro clearly targets users who want extra power, better camera stability, and premium design features.
