Oppo’s next flagship series, the X9 series, is expected to launch in China in October. The upcoming lineup will succeed last year’s Find X8 series and will likely include two models: the standard Oppo Find X9 and the Oppo Find X9 Pro. Ahead of their purported launch, the company has confirmed that these smartphones will be powered by the upcoming flagship MediaTek Dimensity chipset and teased the benchmark score of the Find X9 Pro.
Oppo Find X9 Pro: Expected performance details
Zhou Yibao, OPPO’s product manager, has confirmed that the Find X9 series will run on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset. The Find X9 lineup could be one of the first smartphones to debut with this upcoming flagship chipset from MediaTek, and it is scheduled to be released on September 22. Additionally, the executive has confirmed that the Oppo Find X9 Pro has achieved an impressive total score of 4,045,997 on the AnTuTu V11 benchmark, making it the first smartphone to score points over 4 million on AnTuTu.
Oppo Find X9 series: Expected features
In addition to its performance details, Oppo has also revealed that the Find X9 series will have a ‘Bright Eye Protection Screen’, which can even go as low as 1-nit brightness for improved eye-protection. The company has partnered with Tianma, a leading Chinese state-owned screen manufacturer, to create a dedicated high-end production line for the Find X9 series.
The Find X9 Pro will feature a 200MP periscope telephoto lens with a 70mm focal length, promising greater output in long-range photography. Additionally, Oppo has teased upgrades to its camera software, including the Master Mode and XPAN Mode, providing more professional-level control. Both handsets in the Find X9 series will likely boot with Android 16-based ColorOS 16 and pack a battery with more than 7,000 mAh capacity.
