Oppo Find X9 announces Velvet Red colour option: Price, features and more

The smartphone maker announced that the Oppo Find X9 will now be offered in a third colour option — Velvet Red — in the Indian market. This new variant expands beyond the earlier Space Black and Titanium Grey finishes. It is set to go on sale from December 8 via the company’s e-store, Flipkart and authorised offline retailers. The 12 GB + 256 GB version carries a launch price of ₹74,999, matching the cost of the previously available colour variants. Banking offers bring the effective price down to about ₹67,499.

Key Specifications

Under the hood, the Find X9 runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 processor, paired with up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage.

The display is a 6.59-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1,256 × 2,760 pixels and a 120 Hz refresh rate. It’s protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.

On the imaging front, the rear camera setup features three 50 megapixel sensors (primary, wide-angle and telephoto). The front camera is a 32-megapixel shooter. The phone includes IP66/68/69 ratings for water and dust resistance, and an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

Battery capacity is rated at 7,025 mAh with support for 80 W wired fast charging, 50 W wireless fast charging and 10 W reverse wireless charging.

By introducing the Velvet Red finish, Oppo is offering an additional design variant that may appeal to users seeking more expressive aesthetics. The pricing remains unchanged compared to other finishes, suggesting that buyers don’t pay extra for the colour upgrade. With high-end specs including the flagship-level chipset, triple 50-megapixel cameras and large battery with fast charging, the device continues to target the premium segment.

Availability & Offer Details

Sales open from December 8 via online and offline channels. The 12 GB/256 GB variant is priced at ₹74,999, while the 16 GB/512 GB model remains priced at ₹84,999 and is available only in Space Black and Titanium Grey finishes at present.
