Nothing Phone 3a series

Nothing will finally make the (3a) series official in India. The London-based smartphone company is expected to launch two models under the 3a series, including the 3a and the 3a Pro. It is for the first time that Nothing will launch a model with “Pro” moniker. Previously, Nothing had launched the Plus variant of its Nothing Phone 2a. However, things are changing now. If we can also expect pro-grade specs and performance is something we will know only after the phones are made official. First let us have a look at the India launch time and everything else we know about the phone.

Nothing Phone (3a): Launch time and date, how to watch live stream

The Nothing Phone (3a) series will be officially unveiled today at MWC 2025 in Barcelona, Spain. The event is scheduled to begin at 3:30 PM IST (10:00 AM GMT). If you want to watch it live, you can tune in through Nothing’s official YouTube channel or website. The company is also expected to share live updates on its social media handles, so you won’t miss any major announcements.

Nothing Phone (3a): Expected specs and other details

When it comes to performance, both models are expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset. This means users can expect smooth multitasking and gaming. The battery is rumored to be a 5,000mAh unit, offering long-lasting usage, just like its predecessors. Storage options may include 8GB or 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The Pro model could come with a single 12GB + 256GB configuration.

On the camera front, Nothing is likely stepping things up. Both models may feature a 50MP main sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens. The standard (3a) model could support 2x optical zoom, while the Pro could go up to 3x. Selfie lovers might also see an upgrade, with the (3a) expected to have a 32MP front camera and the Pro getting a 50MP shooter.

The display is another exciting aspect. Both models are expected to sport a 6.77-inch LTPS AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and an impressive peak brightness of 3,000 nits. Panda Glass protection should help keep scratches at bay. A new addition to the series could be the ‘Essential Key’—a physical button on the right side that opens an AI-powered space for storing screenshots, voice notes, and other important content.

Other features that could make their way into the Nothing Phone (3a) series include IP64-rated dust and water resistance, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.4. The Pro model might also be slightly heavier than the standard one.
