Nintendo has officially launched its new Nintendo Store app for iPhone and iPad, giving fans a dedicated platform to explore its hardware, games, and merchandise. The app allows users to browse Nintendo Switch and upcoming Switch 2 consoles, along with related accessories, physical and digital titles, and other official products. While purchases are ultimately completed through Nintendo’s web store, the app serves as a polished, centralised shopping and engagement hub for fans.
The app’s standout addition is its built-in play activity tracker. By signing in with a Nintendo Account, users can review their gaming history across multiple generations — including the Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, and even legacy systems such as the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U, with data logged up to February 2020. This nostalgic feature offers fans a chance to revisit their past gaming milestones, track playtime, and see which titles they’ve spent the most time on.
Beyond the store and activity tracking, the Nintendo Store app also delivers the latest news and updates about Nintendo games, hardware, and events. Users can create wish lists, receive push notifications when items go on sale, and stay informed about restocks or special promotions, features that make the experience more personalised and interactive.
While the My Nintendo Store was previously accessible through mobile browsers, this marks the first time iPhone and iPad users can access a dedicated app version. The Nintendo Store app is now available for free download from the App Store across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, several European markets, and Japan. In Japan, it replaces the earlier My Nintendo app introduced in 2020.
