Motorola has launched its latest foldable smartphone, the Razr 50 Ultra in India today. The smartphone is the successor to the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra and has the largest cover screen ever seen on a flip smartphone. It is also the is the first flip phone to get Google Gemini on the cover display.
Additionally, Motorola is offering 3 months of Gemini Advanced features free for Razr 50 Ultra users with upto 2TB of cloud storage space.
Motorola Razr 50 Ultra: Price, availability
The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra is available for Rs 99,999 for the single 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant. It is available in three different colour options named: Midnight Blue, Spring Green, and Peach Fuzz. The first sale will start during the Amazon Prime Day 2024 and will begin on June 20. It will be also available on the Motorola website and leading retail stores.
Motorola is also offering a Rs 5,000 bank discount and an additional Rs 5,000 limited-time discount with the Razr 50 Ultra. Both the offers combined bring its effective price at Rs 89,999.
Motorola Razr 50 Ultra: Specs, features
The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra comes with a 6.9-inch main foldable display and a 4-inch LTPO pOLED screen. Both the displays support up to 165Hz refresh rate and 300Hz touch sampling rate. The outer cover display has Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The frame is made of aluminum.
The foldable is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor and boots Android 14 with Hello UI on top. Motorola has promised five years of security patches and three years of Android version upgrades with the phone.
The Razr 50 Ultra is backed by a 4000mAh battery with 45W wired and 15W wireless charging support. It has three cameras: a 50MP primary, a 50MP telephoto, and a 32MP selfie sensor. The phone has an IPX8 rating and sports a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
