Smartphone brand Nothing is back at it again, this time with a cheeky dig at Google. The company, known for its playful marketing, has taken to X (formerly Twitter) with a hilarious post aimed at the newly launched Google Pixel 10, which starts at Rs 79,999 in India.
If that number rings a bell, it should. That’s exactly the price Nothing launched its Phone (3) at earlier this year. Back then, the Carl Pei-led brand faced heavy criticism from buyers and reviewers who said the phone was “too expensive” and even mocked its design.
Now, with Google stepping into the same price bracket, Nothing couldn’t resist throwing shade. In its post, the brand used Salman Khan’s iconic track “Main karu toh saala, character dheela hai” from the movie Ready. The idea? When Nothing priced its phone at Rs 79,999, people cried foul. But when Google does it, suddenly it’s acceptable.
The tongue-in-cheek post quickly caught attention, sparking laughs, debates, and memes online. Fans loved the bold move, while some felt Nothing should focus on improving its devices rather than trolling competitors.
Either way, the internet got its dose of fun, and Nothing once again proved it knows how to grab the spotlight—Pixel or no Pixel.
