Kodak TV India has launched its first smart TV powered by JioTele OS — a 43-inch QLED 4K model aimed at delivering a more localised, smarter viewing experience for Indian homes. Available exclusively on Amazon starting today, the TV is priced at Rs 18,999.
The new Kodak QLED TV blends key features with regional content relevance, recognising India’s linguistic and cultural diversity. With over 1.1 billion colours, HDR support, and a 4K QLED display, the company claims that the TV offers sharp visuals. It also comes with a bezel-less AirSlim design. Powered by an Amlogic processor with 2GB RAM and 8GB ROM, it ensures smooth performance across apps.
Audio performance gets a boost too, thanks to 40W Dolby Digital Plus stereo speakers and surround sound support. On the software front, JioTele OS brings together over 300 live TV channels, 200+ apps, 300+ JioGames, and AI-based content recommendations. A dedicated sports page delivers updates across cricket, football, F1, and more.
The TV supports dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and comes with a multilingual voice-enabled remote. There are also hotkeys for quick access to Netflix, JioCinema, and YouTube. It supports accessories like game controllers, keyboards, and headphones for a more connected experience.
Avneet Singh Marwah, CEO of Super Plastronics Pvt. Ltd. (SPPL), the exclusive Kodak licensee in India, said, “With over 32 million connected TV homes and vast cultural diversity, India needs content that’s personal and accessible. This partnership with JioTele OS bridges that gap.”
