Apple’s upcoming iOS 19 is shaping up to be a major refresh, but it’s the smaller quality-of-life tweaks that might win over everyday users. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman in his latest Power On newsletter, iOS 19 will introduce a helpful new feature for anyone who regularly connects to public Wi-Fi networks at hotels, gyms, or cafés.

The feature, expected to roll out as part of the broader iOS 19 release later this year, will automatically sync public Wi-Fi credentials and web form responses across your Apple devices. In plain terms: if you sign in to a network using your iPhone, your iPad and Mac won’t make you jump through the same login hoops.

Many public networks require users to fill out a captive portal form — think names, room numbers, email addresses — before granting access. That form must be submitted separately on each device. iOS 19 aims to eliminate that redundancy. Once one device completes the authentication, the rest of your Apple gear will automatically follow suit.

It’s a small tweak, but a meaningful one. Apple has spent years refining its ecosystem, and features like this reinforce the company’s core pitch: seamless continuity between its products.
