Infinix’s latest budget smartphone, the Hot 60 5G+, will be introduced in India later this month. It follows the recent launch of the Hot 60i with the Helio G81 Ultimate chip in markets like Kenya and Bangladesh, and is marketed as a gaming-focused device with a dedicated gaming mode, boosted by AI. The company is also adding a new One Tap AI Button with this device, which can be used to access multiple custom functions.
Infinix Hot 60 5G+: Launch date, expected features
The Infinix Hot 60 5G+ will launch in India on July 11 is confirmed to launch in India on July 11. The company has introduced a live Flipkart microsite for the phone, revealing that it will be available via the e-commerce site after its launch. Further, Infinix also revealed that it will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7020 SoC, which is claimed to offer an AnTuTu score of more than half a million.
The Hot 60 5G+ will support up to 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM. The phone will support HyperEngine 5.0 Lite Gaming Technology and a dedicated XBoost AI Game Mode. The latter is claimed to offer an immersive sound, enhance gaming performance, and improve image stabilisation for smoother gameplay in popular games like BGMI or Call of Duty: Mobile. Moreover, it will offer 90fps gaming, which is ideal for mobile players.
A major highlight of the Infinix Hot 60 5G+ is its customisable One Tap AI Button, which is a side-mounted key that will trigger multiple actions through double-tap and long-presses. Infinix says the button can be tailored to launch apps or perform contextual actions based on what’s on the screen. In addition, the phone will also support Google’s Circle to Search feature.
