Electronic Arts and Battlefield Studios revealed the open beta testing weekends for Battlefield 6 recently. The upcoming war simulator’s open beta is scheduled to take place over two weekends: August 9-10 and August 14-17. EA is also giving a chance to Battlefield enthusiasts to join in the open beta tests in early access.

For the Battlefield 6 Open Beta, players can pre-load the game as early as August 4 at 15:00 UTC (8AM PT/8.30PM IST). You can either join in the Battlefield 6 open beta testing in early access or on the two weekends. Here are the instructions and launch timings you should keep in mind for the same:

Play Battlefield 6 Open Beta in Early Access (August 7-8)

Early access for Battlefield 6 Open Beta opens on August 7 at 8:00 UTC (1AM PT/1PM IST), two days before the first open beta weekend starts.

Players who signed up for Battlefield Labs before July 31 need just their EA Accounts they registered with Battlefield Labs to log in; codes won’t be required.

Those who didn’t sign up for Battlefield Labs before July 31 but watched the select creators’ reveal streams on Twitch on July 31 will get early access to the open beta on August 7.

EA Play Pro subscribers don't need a code to log in; just their EA accounts associated with their subscription will suffice.

Battlefield 6 Open Beta Weekends (August 9-10 and August 14-17)

The Battlefield 6 Open Beta Weekend 1 opens on August 9 at 8:00 UTC (1PM IST) and closes August 11 at 8:00 UTC (1PM IST). Weekend 2 opens on August 14 at 8:00 UTC (1PM IST) and closes August 17 at 8:00 UTC (1PM IST). Anyone can join in both the Battlefield 6 Open Beta Weekends. It’s free for all and code is required to join.

Battlefield 6 Open Beta: Platforms

Battlefield 6 Open Beta will be made available across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC (via Steam, Epic Games Store and the EA app). You can join in from any of these platforms. Before jumping into the open beta tests, you must link your EA Account to your platform account.
