Here’s a step-by-step guide to enable DND on your Airtel number, whether prepaid or postpaid.

How to activate DND service on your Airtel prepaid and postpaid Number

1. Open your phone’s default messaging app.
2. Type FULLY BLOCK in capital letters.
3. Send the message to 1909 (a toll-free number).

This will block all categories of telemarketing calls and messages. Alternatively, you can use specific codes to block messages from specific sectors. Here are the options:
• BLOCK 1: Banking/Insurance/Credit Cards/Financial Products
• BLOCK 2: Real Estate
• BLOCK 3: Education
• BLOCK 4: Health
• BLOCK 5: Consumer Goods/Automobiles/Entertainment/IT
• BLOCK 6: Communication/Broadcasting
• BLOCK 7: Tourism and Leisure
• BLOCK 8: Food and Beverages

Send the relevant code to 1909 to block spam calls and messages from specific categories.

1. Download and open the Airtel Thanks app.
2. Tap on the More option at the bottom of the app.
3. Select Manage Services from the menu.
