Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 17 lineup soon, with the launch expected in about four weeks. The new range will introduce the iPhone 17 Air, replacing the iPhone 16 Plus with a thinner design.
According to leaked images of screen protectors shared by tipster Majin Bu, the iPhone 17 Air’s display size will sit between the 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max. For the past few years, standard and Pro models have shared the same screen size, while the Plus and Pro Max models matched in display dimensions. The iPhone 16 series altered this slightly by reducing bezel thickness on the Pro models, creating a marginally larger display area compared to non-Pro models.
The iPhone 17 Air is expected to feature a 6.6-inch screen, smaller than the 6.7-inch display on the iPhone 14, 15, and 16 Plus models. The iPhone 17 will remain at 6.1 inches, while the 17 Pro is likely to retain a 6.3-inch display.
For the largest display in the range, the iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to measure 6.9 inches. Apple’s first foldable iPhone, reportedly featuring a 7.58-inch inner screen, is said to be planned for next year.
