Hitman: Absolution, one of the most renowned and well-received games in the Hitman franchise of stealth video games, is coming to the mobile platform. The stealth-based action shooter, featuring Agent 47, will arrive on Android and iOS this autumn, co-developer Feral Interactive announced on its website.
After the mobile release, Hitman: Absolution will also get a Nintendo Switch port and is confirmed to launch on Nintendo Switch in late 2025 and on Switch 2 in 2026, the developer announced, adding that more details related to Absolution’s Nintendo Switch versions will be shared later.
Hitman: Absolution was launched in 2012 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, macOS, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows and is the sequel to Hitman: Blood Money (2006), which was previously ported to mobile as Hitman: Blood Money — Reprisal in 2023. Hitman: Absolution is co-developed by IO Interactive, Feral Interactive and Nixxes Software.
Announcing the mobile version of Hitman: Absolution, Feral Interactive said on its website:
“Stealth meets modernised combat to make ‘going loud’ as satisfying as keeping to the shadows — turning each of Absolution’s 20 missions into an assassin’s playground. Sleek touch controls offer 47’s trademark precision, and, for the full AAA experience on the go, gamepad and keyboard and mouse are fully supported.”
Pre-orders for Hitman: Absolution are open. The stealth action game can be preordered from the Apple App Store for $14.99 / £9.99 / €12,49 (regional prices may vary). Those who would like to play on their Android phones/tablets can pre-register for the upcoming mobile game.
