IT services major HCLTech is eyeing expansion into the US, announcing the launch of a subsidiary for serving state and local government, and education (SLED) organizations, as well as federal civilian and defense agencies.
This comes at a time when the US government has been cutting IT spending through Elon Musk-led Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which has already impacted the business of peers such as Accenture.
