Ghost of Yōtei Legends, the online coop multiplayer mode of Ghost of Yōtei, will launch on March 10 on PS5. In Ghost of Yōtei Legends, you can pick from one of the four classes: Samurai, Archer, Mercenary or Shinobi. Let’s take a detailed look at the four character classes in Ghost of Yōtei Legends and the weapons they can wield.
In Ghost of Yōtei Legends, the Samurai battle class can wield the ōdachi and has the widest range of weapon types at its disposal. The Archer can use the yari (spear), in addition to carrying a ranged weapon at the same time, while the Mercenary can use a dual katana and a set of utility-focused abilities. The Shinobi can use the kusarigama in combat, as well as various stealth-focused skills.
Any Ghost of Yōtei Legends class can use a katana and a ranged weapon. Each warrior class can excel in a different Ghost of Yōtei’s weapon and combat systems, and can earn their own unique armour cosmetics as they complete feats.
Ghost of Yōtei Legends: Earn Legendary weapons, visit the Legends lobby
Ghost of Yōtei Legends also allows players to earn additional Legendary weapons and gear by taking on higher difficulty challenges. In between the missions, you can visit the Legends lobby. Here, you can practice combat and archery or play the game of Zeni Hajiki with friends. You can also try to rack up a high score in Bamboo Strike. Photo Mode will also be available in Ghost of Yōtei Legends to save some great memories with your comrades in battle.
Ghost of Yōtei Legends will launch with three mission types: Survival, Story and Incursion. In Survival, you fight to gain and then control a territory as waves of enemies keep coming, each successive wave stronger than the previous one. The Story mission type gives you 12 missions to complete, while Incursion unlocks after you complete the Story mission type and leads you to a boss fight.
