Galaxy Buds 4 Pro leaked: Likely to get new design and upgraded features

MC Tech Desk | November 17, 2025 / 22:54 IST

Refreshed design and new case layout The leaked visuals reveal that Samsung is moving away from the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro’s sharp, triangular stems and adopting a flatter, cleaner stem design for the Buds 4 Pro. The distinctive light bar seen on the Buds 3 Pro seems to be removed, although the familiar pinch controls remain intact. The in-ear tips also appear slightly refined for a more secure fit. Another notable change is the redesigned charging case. Instead of the vertical drop-in placement used in previous models, the Buds 4 Pro now appear to lay flat inside the case, aligning them with the design approach used by several newer premium earbuds.
Festive accessibility
With the festive season approaching, Samsung is focusing on making its products more accessible through affordability schemes. Babbar pointed to long-tenure EMIs, zero-down payment options, and bundled offers as key enablers for consumers to upgrade to premium Galaxy devices. “This season is not only about celebration but also about making technology more inclusive and reachable,” he said. He emphasized that Samsung’s aim is to democratize AI-powered features rather than restrict them to select devices or consumer groups.

Major new feature: Head Gestures One of the standout upgrades uncovered in the leaked firmware is a new Head Gestures feature. Code references indicate that users will be able to respond to calls or notifications by nodding or shaking their head. The feature also appears capable of dismissing alarms, stopping notification readouts, replying yes/no to an AI assistant and ending conversations without touching the phone. This functionality places the Buds 4 Pro in competition with Sony’s and Google’s gesture-controlled earbuds — but Samsung’s implementation seems broader in scope.
