CMF has launched its first over-ear noise-cancelling headphones in India, expanding its personal audio portfolio beyond earbuds. The new CMF Headphone Pro enters a crowded mid-range segment where brands are increasingly focusing on longer battery life, active noise cancellation, and design-led differentiation. The Headphone Pro also marks CMF’s move into a more traditional audio category, one that has remained popular for work, travel, and long listening sessions. Instead of relying on touch-based gestures, the headphones use physical controls and offer interchangeable ear cushions, signalling a focus on usability and personalisation rather than minimalism alone.
Price and availability
The CMF Headphone Pro is priced at Rs 7,999 in India. As part of an introductory offer, it will be available at a launch price of Rs 6,999 for a limited period. Sales will begin on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. The headphones will be sold via Flipkart as well as through select offline retail stores across the country. The model will be available in three colour options: Dark Grey, Light Grey, and Light Green.
Features and specs
The CMF Headphone Pro is an over-ear wireless headphone with hybrid adaptive active noise cancellation, offering up to 40dB of noise reduction. The ANC adjusts based on ambient noise levels to maintain a consistent listening experience. The headphones use custom 40mm drivers with nickel-plated diaphragms and support Hi-Res audio along with LDAC for higher-quality Bluetooth streaming.
For controls, the headphones feature a physical roller that manages volume, playback, and noise cancellation. An additional slider allows users to adjust bass and treble levels, while a customisable button can be assigned to selected functions through the Nothing X app. The headphones also support spatial audio modes for music and video content.
Battery life is rated at up to 100 hours of playback with noise cancellation turned off, and up to 50 hours with ANC enabled. A five-minute charge is said to provide up to eight hours of listening, while a full charge takes under two hours using a USB-C port. The headphones can also be charged using a USB-C to USB-C cable connected to a smartphone.
The Headphone Pro includes interchangeable ear cushions, built-in microphones for calls, and supports personal sound profiles that adjust audio output based on individual hearing characteristics.
