Asus Republic of Gamers (ROG) has launched the new ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X handheld gaming devices in India, expanding its lineup of portable gaming systems. Both devices, designed in collaboration with Xbox, are powered by the latest AMD Ryzen Z2 series processors and run Windows 11, enabling users to play both Xbox and PC titles seamlessly.
Price in IndiaThe ROG Xbox Ally starts at Rs 69,990, while the higher-end ROG Xbox Ally X is priced at Rs 1,14,990. Pre-orders are open from October 7 at 2:00 PM to October 16, late evening, across Asus & ROG Exclusive Stores, Asus eShop, Amazon, Vijay Sales, and authorized partners. Both models will be available in stores from October 16, 2025.
Pre-order offersAsus is offering exclusive pre-order benefits starting at Rs 499, which include a ROG Slash Sling Bag worth up to Rs 16,947 and a one-year Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. Customers can claim these benefits after pre-ordering through the Asus promotion portal.
FeaturesThe ROG Xbox Ally X features the AMD Ryzen AI Z2 Extreme processor, an 80Wh battery, and up to 24GB LPDDR5X RAM, targeting users who need higher performance and endurance. The ROG Xbox Ally is powered by the Ryzen Z2 A processor, paired with a 60Wh battery and 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, aimed at gamers seeking portability.
Both handhelds include Radeon FSR, RSR, and AFMF technologies, offering frame rate optimization and enhanced visuals. The devices feature a 7-inch Full HD IPS display with 120Hz refresh rate, FreeSync Premium, and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.
Inspired by the Xbox Wireless Controller, the design incorporates contoured grips, Hall Effect triggers, HD haptics, and customizable buttons. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, and multiple USB-C ports.
According to Arnold Su, Vice President, Consumer and Gaming PC, Asus India, the ROG Xbox Ally series brings next-generation gaming power to a portable form factor, combining AI-driven performance with console-level control.
