Asus has expanded its business laptop lineup with its new device, the ExpertBook P5405, in India. The laptop, according to the company, is designed to enhance productivity with AI-powered tools. The laptop is powered by Intel Core Ultra processors (Series 2), integrates Asus AI ExpertMeet tools, offering businesses advanced features like AI-powered transcription, translation, subtitles, camera, and noise cancellation for virtual meetings.

Price in India

Asus has not yet revealed the exact pricing details of the ExpertBook P5405. However, the laptop will be available for purchase during Q4 2024 in India. More information regarding the price will be announced closer to the official sale date.

Availability

Asus ExpertBook P5405 will be available in India starting in the last quarter of 2024. The laptop is expected to be sold through leading online and offline retailers. Asus is also offering extended service packs with coverage lasting up to five years for added assurance.

The Asus ExpertBook P5405 is powered by Intel Core Ultra processors (Series 2) with up to 47 NPU TOPS and up to 115 total platform TOPS of AI performance. This makes it optimised for running AI applications, significantly enhancing productivity for small businesses and professionals.

Key AI-driven features include AI transcript, translation, subtitles, assisted meeting summaries, AI camera, and noise cancelation tools, enhancing virtual meetings. The laptop also offers multi-layered security at the BIOS level, including Secure Boot and a discrete Trusted Platform Module (TPM) for protection against unauthorised interventions.

For data protection, the optional SafeGuard Backup tool offers encrypted protection for important files. McAfee+ Premium Individual Unlimited comes pre-installed, free for one year globally.

The ExpertBook P5405 is built with sustainability in mind, utilizing recycled aluminum alloy, post-consumer recycled steel, and recycled magnets to reduce environmental impact. The laptop also offers a long-lasting battery for uninterrupted office productivity.
