How to enable Apple Intelligence features on iPhone

Apple Intelligence is a part of the iOS 18.1 update. However, it is important to note that the AI features work only with the language set to English (US). So, you’ll need to change the language of the iPhone to English US to use the features.

For this, head to Settings → General → Language & region → Select English (US).

The second thing to note is that users will need to join the waitlist to be able to use the features. For this, go to Settings → Apple Intelligence & Siri → Joint the waitlist option.

Accessing Apple Intelligence features

Once you’ve got access to Apple Intelligence, the icon within the Settings app will change and you’ll start seeing a new “Apple Intelligence” toggle within the “ Apple Intelligence & Siri” settings.

Make sure it is enabled and that’s pretty much it. You can also enable the “ChatGPT” toggle to get Siri to do more things like answering contextual questions, getting human-like responses and more.
