After iPhone 16, Flipkart cancels Nothing Phone 3 orders during Diwali sale; buyers call it ‘Fraudkart’

Flipkart’s Diwali sale faces backlash as Nothing Phone 3 orders get cancelled after heavy discounts. Furious customers call it “Fraudkart,” citing delivery delays, repeated pickup failures, and inconsistent seller pricing.

Several Flipkart customers are reporting order cancellations and delays during the ongoing Diwali sale after Nothing Phone 3 units listed at heavy discounts were pulled down.

Flipkart sale backlash grows

Flipkart’s Diwali sale has once again come under fire, this time for cancelling Nothing Phone 3 orders placed at steep discounts. The controversy comes just days after similar chaos over iPhone 16 deals during the Dusshera sale.

On X (formerly Twitter), tech tipster Abhishek Yadav shared a screenshot showing his Nothing Phone 3 (12GB RAM, 256GB) order being cancelled. The listed price was Rs 26,000, far below its regular Rs 79,999 price. Flipkart informed him that the “price of the product was incorrectly listed by the seller.” Yadav quipped, “Lucky are those who bought it via Flipkart Minutes and got theirs delivered last night.”

Buyers vent frustration

The cancellations have sparked outrage online, with several users dubbing the platform “Fraudkart.” One buyer, @desai_sujay, shared his ordeal of “record 8 time pickup failure,” saying, “Return pickup was initiated on 2nd October but failed continuously till 7th October. Flipkart logistics are failing during the festival rush.”

Another customer, Vikhyat Bhatnagar, complained that his order had been stuck at the nearest hub for over a week. “My order reached the hub one week ago, and still not delivered. The delivery date was moved one week later without any intimation. Will not be ordering via Flipkart,” he posted.

Meanwhile, a few shoppers managed to score deals before cancellations began. Anir Chakraborty said he received his Nothing Phone 3 within 10 minutes through Flipkart’s 10-minute delivery service. “At Rs 27K, it’s a very good deal IMO,” he wrote, but added that it’s “unfair for people who bought at a high price.”

History repeats itself

The situation mirrors the recent iPhone 16 Dusshera sale glitch, where multiple customers also reported abrupt cancellations. With sellers citing “incorrect listings” and delayed logistics, buyers are once again questioning Flipkart’s reliability during major festive sales.
