Daniel Jarvis, popularly known as 'Jarvo 69', has been arrested in England after the serial offender lined up with the Australia team during Saturday's rugby league Test against England. Jarvis invaded the pitch as players got ready for the pre-match rituals and lined up in the middle for the respective national anthems at Everton's Hill Dickinson Stadium.
He was captured on BBC One's coverage, standing at the end of the line and his arms around the shoulder of an Australian player. He sported a similar a green and gold jersey as the Australian team with 'Jarvo 69' printed on the back.
"We can confirm that officers have detained a man following an incident at Hill Dickinson Stadium, Liverpool this afternoon, Saturday, 1 November. The 37-year-old man from Gravesend, Kent, was detained at around 2.30pm after entering the pitch before the start of the the England v Australia rugby league match.
"He has been arrested on suspicion of possession of articles for use in fraud and fraud by false representation, and has been taken to a police station for questioning," Merseyside Police was quoted as saying in a report by the BBC.

The report stated that both Everton and the Rugby Football League declined from commenting on the incident. It, however, added that the violation will form part of an RFL internal review of the event.
The match, which was the second encounter of a three-Test series, was won by Australia, who defeated the hosts with a 14-4 scoreline. Meanwhile, this was also the first non-football event held at Everton's new stadium since it opened earlier this year.
Other incidents of pitch invasion
The incident adds up to the long list of pitch invasion incidents Jarvis has been involved in the past. The prankster, who boasts 140,000 followers on Instagram and a huge YouTube audience, had done the same during a Test between India and England at The Oval in 2021. He had then collided with Jonny Bairstow.
In another notorious incident, he tried sabotaging a live programme of Match of the Day FA Cup broadcast at Molineux. He had then hid a phone, which played porn noises as Gary Lineker opened the show.
It happened in India as well during the 2023 ODI World Cup. Then he had crashed the league stage match between India and Australia in Chennai. He had then approached Virat Kohli before security got hold of him.
A similar sight was witnessed during the Paris Olympics, when Jarvis crashed the closing ceremony dressed as a member of the Great Britain team. During the chaos he even managed to click a selfie with French president Emmanuel Macron.
