The Australian women's cricket team has reported of an unpleasant incident of two players being allegedly stalked and one being molested by a motorcycle-borne man in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The development was confirmed by the local police on Saturday and an FIR has been lodged in this regard.
The police on Friday also arrested the man involved in the incident that occurred on the Khajrana Road area on Thursday morning, an official said.
Indore's Holkar Stadium is one of the four venues in India where the Women's World Cup is being played. Australia are scheduled to play South Africa at the venue later on Saturday. Both teams have qualified for the semifinals.
