Vaibhav Suryavanshi, a 14-year-old cricket prodigy, keeps becoming better. In a practice match for India's Under-19 squad before their forthcoming tour to England, the charismatic left-handed opening batsman lit up the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru with a spectacular show of power hitting. Known for his aggressive stroke play, the teenager stunned selectors and onlookers with a string of soaring sixes.

Suryavanshi's IPL team, the Rajasthan Royals, posted a video of his performance, which perfectly demonstrated how easily he could cross the boundary and the elegance in his batting. His status as one of the most promising young players in Indian cricket was further cemented when the video swiftly went viral. As reported by the Hindustan Times, Suryavanshi scored 190 runs off of 90 balls.

Suryavanshi's ascent to fame has been swift. When he played for the Rajasthan Royals against the Lucknow Super Giants in April 2025, he was just 14 years and 23 days old, making him the youngest player to make an Indian Premier League (IPL) debut. He set the tone for an incredible season with a first-ball six to commemorate his debut. Later that month, he became the youngest player in IPL history to score a century off 35 balls against the Gujarat Titans. With eleven 6s and seven 4s in his innings, he shot to fame and received praise from both cricket luminaries and fans.

As Suryavanshi continues to establish new benchmarks for young cricket players throughout the world, the cricket community anxiously awaits his next move.
