Does Sundar Pichai, the CEO of Google, intend to purchase an Indian Premier League (IPL) team? Given that Sundar Pichai was seen to be closely monitoring the richest league in the world, that may be a possibility in the future.
Sundar Pichai, one of the biggest cricket fans, has already made an investment in the game. He and a group of Indian techies based in the United States, including Jim Goetz of Sequoia, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Palo Alto Networks CEO Nikesh Arora, Times Internet Limited vice chairman Satyan Gajwani, Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen, Silverlake Technology CEO Egon Durban, and two others, won the bid to own 49 percent of London Spirit, a franchise in The Hundred.
The Hundred's business plan includes the remaining 51 percent with the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB).

When Sundar Pichai responded to a user's tweet on Tuesday, "wondering" why Washington Sundar was left out of the Gujarat Titans' playing XI against the Punjab Kings in Ahmedabad, it was evident how much he loved the IPL.
"How Sundar sneaks into the best 15 of India but doesn't get a place in any IPL XI when 10 teams exist is a mystery," an X user commented in response to the cricketer's exclusion. When Sundar Pichai saw the post, he said, "I have been wondering this too."
I have been wondering this too:)

Although Sundar Pichai's statement may appear humorous to many, it demonstrates how closely the Google CEO adheres to the league. It's interesting to note that both Washington Sundar and Sundar Pichai are from Tamil Nadu.
