Kuldeep‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Yadav turned the match for India in the third ODI in Visakhapatnam on Saturday (December 6) after Prasidh Krishna’s fiery spell with a sensational display of spin bowling. South Africa looked to be scoring a huge total after Quinton de Kock hammered his 23rd ODI century in the series decider, but the Indian bowling unit didn't give up the fight.

Kuldeep tore through the middle and lower order, Brevis, Jansen, Bosch, and Ngidi being the victims of his four wickets. The left-arm wrist spinner was extremely lively, and after his initial breakthroughs, he kept going for the appeals most vigorously and also imploring the captain to take DRS calls even if there was just the slightest hint of an edge or pad. Rohit Sharma indulged in a bit of fun with him all the time, and most of the time, he would be waving off those optimistic ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌reviews.

After the first innings, Kuldeep Yadav accepted his mistake and habit of struggling with DRS calls.

The Indian spinner said, "In the DRS, I am someone who is very bad and he keeps pulling my leg. If the ball hits the pad, I feel like every ball is a wicket. When you have a former captain ... KL has been really good behind the wicket and especially in DRS calls, as a bowler you feel like every not out is out, so you have to have those people around you to guide you to just calm you down."

Every‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ time, Rohit Sharma in a jest manner seemed to push him away by not giving the review and Virat Kohli couldn't hold his laughter after seeing Kuldeep's eagerness. The funny incident which was happening at the ground was also noticed by the captain KL Rahul and Rohit who apart from laughing were seen making several signals with their hands for him to go ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌back.
