Ahead of the Asia Cup 2025, Dubai is a hive of activity, but one unexpected detail has startled both fans and analysts. Tickets for the highly anticipated India vs Pakistan, which is slated for September 14, are still up for grabs with less than a week to go. The price of two seats is over Rs 2.5 lakh.
On Tuesday, the official captains' news conference was set up in Dubai. The seating was thoughtfully planned by the organizers, with Afghanistan's Rashid Khan seated between India captain Suryakumar Yadav and Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha. In order to preserve a calm environment before what is arguably cricket's most intense rivalry, the two leaders of the arch rivals avoided direct contact.

Although India's campaign begins on September 10 against UAE, the tournament's main event has long been the matchup against Pakistan, which takes place on Sunday. Tickets for this match are usually sold out in a matter of hours. However, it seems that isn't the case this time around.
Two seats in the VIP Suites East are available for an incredible Rs 257,815 on the booking websites Viagogo and Platinumlist.
A parking pass, VIP club/lounge access, aisle seats, unlimited food and beverages, private entrance, and facilities are all included in the package. The Sky Box East costs Rs 167,851, while the Royal Box costs Rs 230,700 for two. Even mid-tier categories continue to be expensive. Pavilion West costs Rs 28,174, Grand Lounge costs Rs 41,153, Platinum costs Rs 75,659, while General East, the least expensive, still costs about Rs 10,000 for two.
For an India-Pakistan match, which is typically thought of as the most popular ticket in international cricket, it is unusual to have premium tickets go unsold.
