Rabbit Swallowed Whole by Seagull
The video, posted by @detailedexplanation on Instagram, displays a seagull next to a rabbit hole. The bird drags the rabbit out, grips its head tightly, and then swallows it alive. Normally, seagulls feed on fish, insects, crabs, snails, or even smaller birds and eggs. Watching one consume a rabbit in this manner has shocked many viewers.
Commenters explained that seagulls are opportunistic hunters. These birds adapt what they eat depending on what is presented to them. That adaptability explains how they can thrive along the coastline as well as in the city.
