The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has invited academic institutes to participate in the Space Science and Technology Awareness Training (START) 2025 programme. Focused on the theme “Future of India’s Space Exploration,” the initiative offers valuable insights into space science and technology.
What is START-2025?START is an annual ISRO-led event for Indian students. It includes online lectures by space experts and ISRO professionals. The sessions aim to provide knowledge to post-graduate and final-year undergraduate students of physical sciences and technology. The three-week programme encourages scientific engagement and skill development.
Registration Details for Academic InstitutesISRO is seeking expressions of interest from Indian institutes to host START-2025 as nodal centres. Eligible academic institutes can submit their applications by 31 December 2024. Registrations must be completed on the Jigyasa portal at https://jigyasa.iirs.gov.in/START.
What Participants Can ExpectSTART-2025 will be conducted online during January-February 2025. The programme is designed for postgraduate and final-year undergraduate students pursuing physical science and technology courses.
