Elon Musk is planning to Colonize Mars in 20 years, Space X team is working to achieve this lifelong goal of Elon

Elon Musk owner of the Space X, a private aerospace manufacturer and space transportation company is working on colonizing Mars or the red planet.

It is Musk's lifelong goal to make a civilization on the planet, in April he told Space X that he wanted around 20 million people to be living on the planet within 20 years.

He also told the team to develop a design of a Martian Landscape or a city according to the reports he wanted to build a small dome habitat and is working on the spacesuits for the survival in Martian environment.

Additionally, Musk has also volunteered to donate his sperm for this goal to be achieved so that the colonies can be developed. This initiative will help in building more planned colonies or life on Mars.

According to him, it will take around 40-200 years to make a self-sufficient civilization on the planet, "There's high urgency to making life multi-planetary," Musk said to his team In a video posted on social media, he further added, "We've got to do it while civilisation is so strong."

Musk is known for achieving the impossible, he is going to extreme levels to achieve this Mars mission and make it a reality in the coming future. According to NASA is not possible for now till 2024 for a human to be expected to land on Mars.

If humans manage to go there, survival on the Martian landscape will be very challenging, making it nearly impossible to endure such a hostile environment with its barren terrain, icy temperatures, dust storms, and unbreathable air.

Despite all the challenges Musk is still taking the risk and initiative to create a civilization on Mars. Musk's company, The Boring Co., was partially established to prepare machinery for tunnelling beneath the surface of Mars.

Musk has also mentioned that he bought the social platform X to understand how citizen-led government rule will work on his civilization on Mars. He has also said that he envisions residents on the planet will drive a version of the steel-panelled Cybertrucks made by Tesla, his electric vehicle company.

“It’s a way to get humanity to Mars because establishing a self-sustaining city on Mars will require a lot of resources,” he testified in court in 2022 about his Tesla pay.

Musk has a net worth of around $240 million which is accumulated to be dedicated to his dream of Mars mission. His dedication towards this mission is proved by the two drawings of the colonies in Mara in 2018.

To commence this mission Musk has built Starship, a nearly 400-foot reusable rocket in the hope of creating his own species, and to tackle the icy temperature on Mars he has done strategic planning to create warmth there to combat the cold temperature.

According to the NYT conversation with the people, by doing a series of thermonuclear explosions and creating an artificial Sun human living survival conditions can be formed and hundreds of solar panels will help create energy. Musk want the set up the city to look like a central big dome and some small domes around it will create a communal living space.
