Kurma Jayanti Rituals

  • Mantras and Chanting: Devotees chant sacred mantras dedicated to Lord Vishnu, particularly the "Kurma Avatar Mantra." Reciting the Vishnu Sahasranama, a thousand names of Vishnu, is also considered highly auspicious.
  • Aarti: After the puja rituals, an aarti (offering of light) is performed to Lord Vishnu.
  • Bhog: In some traditions, food offerings (Prasad) are prepared and then shared with family and friends after the puja.
  • Charity and Donations: Engaging in charitable acts and donating to the needy are considered important aspects of Kurma Jayanti.
