Ayodhya Ramkot Parikrama 2025: Date, Time, Route, and 21 Tableaux Lineup

The Ramkot Parikrama, a sacred circumambulation of Ayodhya's holy sites, is set to take place on March 29, 2025, on the eve of Nav Samvatsar (Hindu New Year). The event will witness the participation of saints and religious leaders from Ayodhya's major temples, who will walk together in a grand procession. A total of 21 magnificent tableaux, including representations of Lord Shri Ram and Bharat Mata, will be showcased, adding to the spiritual atmosphere.

A planning meeting for the Ramkot Parikrama was held at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Bhawan, where key decisions about the event were made. The Parikrama will begin at 3 PM with a ceremonial worship at the Matgajendra Temple. Following the rituals, the procession will move through a designated route, passing Rampath, Dakkhana Tiraha, Teedi Bazaar, Thana Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, Gokul Bhawan, and Asharfi Bhawan Chauraha, before concluding back at the Matgajendra Temple premises. The entire path will be decorated with flags and decorative arches to enhance the festive spirit.

As this marks the 21st edition of the Ramkot Parikrama, it was proposed to include 21 grand tableaux in the procession. These will depict revered religious leaders, iconic temples, and legendary figures from various social backgrounds. The planned displays include Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram, Bharat Mata, Jagadguru Ramanandacharya, Ramanujacharya, Saint Tulsidas, Maharishi Valmiki, Guru Nanakdev, Saint Jhulelal, Dayanand Saraswati, Saint Ravidas, Saint Gadge, Guhyaraj Nishad, Bhagwan Vishwakarma, and Maharaja Suheldev.

In addition to these, the event will feature tableaux from prominent temples of Ayodhyadham, such as Swami Narayan Temple, Makhoda Temple, Aastik Ashram, Shringi Rishi Ashram, and a replica of Kamakhya Dham. Organisations like the Central Durga Puja Committee, Gayatri Parivar, and Brahmakumari Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya will also be approached to support and participate in this grand event.

Notable religious leaders and dignitaries, including Champat Rai (General Secretary, Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust), Swant Ranjan (All India Promotion Chief, RSS), and Prant Pracharak Kaushal, have confirmed their participation. The event is set to unite saints, traders, and residents of Ayodhyadham, reflecting the spirit of devotion and community harmony.

The meeting to discuss the preparations was attended by several key figures, including Mahant Vaidehi Ballabh Sharan, Dr. Anil Mishra (Ram Mandir Trust Member), Gopal (Ram Mandir Administrator and VHP Pracharak), Ramanuj Sharan Brahmachari, Dr. Chandragopal Pandey, Avani Kumar Shukla, and Ravi. The next preparatory meeting for the Parikrama has been scheduled for March 19 at 4 PM at Bawan Mandir.

The Ramkot Parikrama of Ayodhya is not only a religious event but also a celebration of faith, unity, and cultural heritage. As the city of Ayodhya gears up for this grand occasion, devotees eagerly await the spiritual and festive fervour that the Parikrama brings each year.
