An Irish government minister said on Sunday he would like to see bonds issued to Ireland under an EU-IMF bailout rescheduled.
"I am talking about the EU-IMF-ECB programme," Minister for Energy Pat Rabbitte told Reuters, clarifying earlier remarks made on state broadcaster RTE.
The average duration of debt issued under the 85 billion euros (USD 118.7 billion) programme is 7-1/2 years but Rabbitte declined to say how much he would like to see it extended by.
"I am not going into any detail on it," he said. "Negotiations are going all of the time, the interest rate is the immediate issue."
