Rose Day, which falls on February 7, marks the beginning of Valentine Week. The “week of love”, as it is popularly perceived, starts with Rose Day and culminates with Valentine’s Day on February 14. The seven days of Valentine Week are highly anticipated by couples across the world as they present an opportunity to express affection to loved ones.
This year, Valentine’s Week seems to be off to a roaring start. According to Swiggy CEO Rohit Kapoor, Instamart stocked up on 1.5 million fresh roses especially for this week.
"Roses have been flying off the shelves since early this morning. But keep ordering! After crossing the million roses mark last year, Swiggy Instamart has stocked up on 1.5 million fresh roses and is geared up to spread the love this Rose Day and throughout Valentine's week!" he wrote on X.

“Mad start to Valentine's week!” Dhindsa posted on the microblogging platform X. “It’s just 11am and we've already sold more roses than we did on Rose day in 2023. And our analysts are telling me that there will be a bigger peak in the evening,” the CEO of Blinkit revealed.
