The coronavirus pandemic proved to be a stressful period for everyone worldwide with social distancing norms and heightened use of masks becoming a common feature and almost a part of day-to-day life.

He admitted that an audience, that would use their services frequently in the past, had stopped booking Ubers to reach their destination. "There is an audience who kind of stopped using us as frequently as they used to," he said.
Khosrowshahi admitted that while certain sections may not be pleased about returning to work, he and his team at Uber were not complaining and reiterated the point in another interview.
"Some folks may not like that, but we love it here at Uber, people getting back to work and getting back to the office," he said, on the call.
"One interesting trend we're seeing is that people are getting back to work," he told CNBC in an interview, earlier this week.
During his visit to Bengaluru in February, Khosrowshahi had revealed that he had delivered food for Uber Eats during the pandemic phase and admitted that delivering food to customers kept him sane in those dark days.
