Shah Rukh Khan stepped out at midnight to greet the hundreds of fans who had gathered outside his Mumbai residence, Mannat, to celebrate his 58th birthday. The actor, dressed in a black T-shirt with sunglasses and a matching cap, waved at the sea of fans from the boundary wall of his house. Greeting fans on November 2 has become a yearly ritual of sorts for Khan, who is reportedly planning a birthday party tonight for his close industry friends.

2023 has been a good year for Shah Rukh Khan with two blockbuster releases after a gap of five years. He started the year with a bang with Pathaan, and later went on to deliver one of the biggest hits of his remarkable career with Jawan.

After greeting fans outside Mannat at midnight, Khan thanked them in a post shared on the microblogging platform X.

“It’s unbelievable that so many of you come and wish me late at night. I am but a mere actor. Nothing makes me happier, than, the fact that I can entertain you a bit. I live in a dream of your love. Thank you for allowing me to entertain you all,” he wrote.

The Kuch Kuch Hota Hai star ended his post with a cryptic “See you in the morning…on the screen & off it” – possibly hinting at the teaser release of his upcoming film Dunki. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, Dunki will cap Shah Rukh Khan’s annus mirabilis with its December 2023 release.

Meanwhile, several reports suggest that Khan will host a star-studded birthday bash at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC). The birthday party is being organised by his longtime manager Pooja Dadlani and invitees have reportedly been requested not to carry any gifts for the star.
