The video quickly attracted attention across social media platforms, with many users praising Anam Mirza's honesty.

Anam Mirza, the sister of tennis star Sania Mirza, recently revealed a surprising method she adopted to manage her finances more mindfully: she stopped using UPI (Unified Payments Interface) altogether. In a candid video shared on Instagram, Mirza explained that she even deleted Google Pay from her phone to reduce impulsive, everyday spending.

The video, which formed Episode 4 of her ongoing series "Little Changes, Big Impact", saw Mirza recounting how her decision to abandon instant digital payments helped her regain control over her financial habits. “Little Changes, Big Impact. Stopped using UPI completely. No scan = less spend. Made me way more aware of where my money’s going,” the caption on her post read.

Mirza acknowledged that the change was not easy at first. In the video, she admitted, “Initially, I had to ask friends to buy me coffee,” illustrating just how reliant she had become on the convenience of UPI transactions. However, over time, she said she adjusted to the shift and now finds the approach beneficial in making her more conscious of her spending patterns.

The video quickly attracted attention across social media platforms, with many users praising Mirza's honesty and the simplicity of her approach. Several viewers commented that her suggestion felt realistic and achievable, especially in an age of seamless digital payments and frequent spending.

A user wrote, “This will definitely make very very big impact for sure,” while another added, “Really a great change to have at this era of time.”

However, not everyone was convinced. Some responses questioned the practicality of such a change for people who aren’t as financially secure. One user commented, “Suits you because you're already rich. Only middle-class people like us could relate, how convenient it is to have UPI. People should definitely think before doing unnecessary expenses but deleting UPI a/c for that is too much.”
