Matthew Perry, renowned for his role as Chandler Bing in the popular '90s television series Friends, was mourned by his co-star Maggie Wheeler, who played his on-again, off-again girlfriend Janice on the hit show.
“What a loss. The world will miss you, Mathew Perry,” she wrote. “The joy you brought to so many in your too-short lifetime will live on. I feel so very blessed by every creative moment we shared.”
Perry was found dead at his home in Los Angeles on Saturday. He was 54. According to US media reports, he was found unresponsive in a hot tub and first responders were unable to revive him.
Morgan Fairchild, who played his mother on Friends, said she was heartbroken by the news of his death.
“I’m heartbroken about the untimely death of my ‘son,’ Matthew Perry,” she posted on X, formerly Twitter. “The loss of such a brilliant young actor is a shock. I’m sending love & condolences to his friends & family, especially his dad, John Bennett Perry, who I worked with on Flamingo Road & Falcon Crest. #RIPMatthew.”

The actor’s sudden death sent shockwaves around the world with a large number of fans taking to social media platforms to mourn their beloved Chandler Bing.
Some people even posted scenes from the popular sitcom that ran for a decade.
