Pop sensation Rihanna set the stage on fire on day 1 of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding festivities. The 3-day extravaganza hosted by the Ambanis at Jamnagar is simply the talk of the town right now as celebrities from all over the world are in attendance. Meanwhile, it was Rihanna’s first-ever performance in India and she absolutely owned it.
The “Diamonds” singer arrived in Jamnagar with her entourage and giant luggage to say the least. A video that spread like wildfire on the internet showed huge wooden crates being carried on carts. The clip, for obvious reasons, sparked a flurry of reactions from social media users who were quick to comment on the size and amount of luggage.
“She has come to shift to India,” one user wrote. Another user commented, “This is unreal.”
“Did she bring the Statue of Liberty?” a third user quipped. “What she bring with her? A folding house? a fourth user questioned.
Some users also pointed out that the huge crates contained Rihanna's stage setup for the exclusive performance on March 1. "It's not her luggage, it's her stage stuff," one user remarked.
Confirming the same, Rihanna herself replied to one of the comments on Instagram and retorted in sarcasm, "The stage couldn't fit in my carry-on."
Meanwhile, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's pre-wedding festivities are being attended by the who's who across the globe. While day one's theme was 'An Evening in Wonderland', day two has 'A Walk on the Wildside' culminating into a 'Mela Rouge'.
Day three will embrace a 'Tusker Trails' theme for the guests including Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates and Donald Trump's daughter Ivanka Trump.
