Mark Zuckerberg has recently revealed that he has begun to raise cattle on a ranch to develop "the highest quality beef in the world". The billionaire Meta CEO said the cattle would be eating macadamia meals -- rich in vitamins, minerals, fibre, and antioxidants -- and drinking beer produced at the ranch.

Zuckerberg, who has been working on multiple projects, said that raising cattle for beef was his "most delicious" one.

"Started raising cattle at Ko'olau Ranch on Kauai, and my goal is to create some of the highest quality beef in the world. The cattle are Wagyu and Angus, and they'll grow up eating macadamia meal and drinking beer that we grow and produce here on the ranch," Zuckerberg wrote on Instagram.

Wagyu constitutes four breeds of Japanese cattle raised for beef while Angus is a Scottish breed of small cattle that is extremely popular in the US for its beef.

When an Instagram user asked if drinking beer would make the cattle get drunk, Mark Zuckerberg said, " It mostly makes them hungry so they eat more. But it also relaxes them. Takes a lot of beer to get a cow drunk though."

He further elaborated that he wants the entire cattle-raising and beef-generating process to be local and vertically integrated. Each cow would be given about 2,000-4,500 kg of food each year, and his daughters would help plant the macadamia nut trees -- which would be a major source of cattle food -- and take care of the different animals, the Meta CEO added.

"We're still early in the journey and it's fun improving on it every season," he said. "Of all my projects, this is the most delicious."
