In April 2022, a Japanese man, identified as Toco, surprised everyone after he decided to convert himself into a dog and paid Rs 12 lakh to buy a collie dog costume and transform into the animal. Recently, the man hit the headlines again for taking a Crufts-style agility course.
In a series of photos shared on Instagram, Toco shared pictures of him in the collie dog costume and captioned the post saying, "When you become a dog, you want to try agility, don’t you?"
Unfortunately, though, he failed the test. The post saw many comments from users, who praised Toco for his efforts and said that he had put in a brave attempt to pass the test.
"Wow you are brave! That must have been so difficult! Honestly, your little crash land photos are so adorable!" one user wrote.
"He tried his best, that’s what matters," another user wrote.
In September, Toco had revealed that the reason behind choosing the collie dog costume was because he liked raising the animal breed.
"The reason I chose a collie dog breed specifically is primarily because I like raising them. Secondly, because if it wasn’t a naturally large size breed, it wouldn’t look unnaturally disproportionate when worn by someone as a costume," he said.
Toco has a YouTube channel named "I Want To Be An Animal", where he regularly shares clips which show him going for dog walks, learning tricks and eating dog food.
