The 75th edition of the Emmy Awards will be hosted by Anthony Anderson.

The 75th edition of the Emmy Awards will take place at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles, United States on Monday as the television landscape in the country gets set to recognise the exceptional contribution of actors, directors, writers and others involved in the filmmaking process.

The awards were originally scheduled to take place in September 2023, but could not go ahead due to writers and actors strike in Hollywood. This was the second instance when the awards were postponed to a later date after 2001, when the awards took place in November due to the 9/11 terrorist attack in the United States.

The 75th edition of the awards will be hosted by Anthony Anderson, who will be hosting this awards ceremony for the first time but has hosted the NAACP Image Awards eight times, in the past.

HBO's Succession, which won two awards at Golden Globes last week, leads the list as far as nominations are concerned, with 27 nominations across various categories.

The Creative Art Emmys were held on January 6 and 7 and honoured those who worked behind the scenes.
