In a display of medical expertise and prompt action, a woman doctor saved the life of an elderly man who suffered a heart attack at Delhi Airport. The incident, captured on video, has gone viral, earning the doctor widespread praise on social media.

The video showed the female doctor, who was present at Terminal 2 when the emergency occurred, performing chest compressions on the man amidst a crowd of onlookers.

Demonstrating exceptional skill and composure, she managed to revive the patient within five minutes and continued to motivate him until he regained consciousness. Following her intervention, the man received further medical treatment from airport authorities.

"Today at T2 Delhi Airport, a gentleman in his late 60s had a heart attack in the food court area. This lady doctor revived him in 5 mins. Super proud of Indian doctors. Please share this so that she can be acknowledged," Rishi Bagree wrote while sharing the clip.

While the identity of this heroic doctor remains unknown, social media users are calling for her recognition and honour for her life-saving actions. One user commented, "That's incredible news! Kudos to the lady doctor who acted swiftly and revived the gentleman within just 5 minutes. Proud of our doctors for their dedication and life-saving skills!"

This incident echoes a similar event last year, where another Indian doctor, Vishwaraj Vemala, saved a patient's lifeon a UK-India flight. The patient suffered a massive heart attack twice during the journey.

Despite limited resources—only oxygen and an automated external defibrillator—Dr Vemala managed to resuscitate the 43-year-old man, even seeking assistance from fellow passengers for any additional medical equipment. His quick thinking and relentless efforts ensured the man survived the ordeal.
