In one of the most iconic days in India's contemporary history, the Ram Lalla idol was consecrated at the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the presence of several leading personalities from politics, business, sports and entertainment.
Bollywood made its presence felt at the occasion with the likes of Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Katrina Kaif and many others in attendance for the inauguration.
The husband of actor Madhuri Dixit Shriram Nene took the opportunity to capture all the leading stars in a selfie, in Ayodhya.

The 51-inch idol of Ram Lalla, carved by Mysuru-based sculptor Arun Yogiraj, portrays Lord Ram as a five-year-old child standing on a lotus.
