Singer and reality TV host Aditya Narayan landed in a controversy after a video of him losing his cool on a fan during his concert in Bhilai, Chattisgarh, surfaced online. The clip has upset his fans and several users criticised his behaviour.

In the clip, Narayan was seen performing “Aaj Ki Raat” from Shah Rukh Khan-starrer “Don” when he got angry at the fan. He hit the man with his microphone and snatched his phone. He then threw it into the crowd and continued to perform.

It is not clear what triggered the singer but the fan caught his attention while he was recording his performance on his phone. The concert was happening at a college in Chattisgarh.

The video shocked fans and social media users alike with many slamming his actions on X. #AdityaNarayan started trending on the microblogging site too. A number of people expressed their anger and flooded the comments section with their opinions.

“Trust me, downfall of any celebrity starts when he becomes disrespectful for his own fans,” one user wrote. Another user commented, “Shameful behaviour.”

“Really disgusting act by Aditya Narayan,” a third user remarked.

A fourth user added, "This is very arrogant behaviour."
